The 10,000 base pair order minimum can be comprised of any combination of
Standard or Complex Constructed Clones. Base pairs from any size construct, both
Standard and Constructed Clones, can apply to the 10,000 order minimum.

Certain gene sequences may require more complex and sophisticated manufacturing
procedures. Pricing and delivery for Complex Constructed Clones are dependent upon
sequence length and complexity.
Characteristics of complex gene sequences may include the following:
- High GC content
- Highly repetitive regions
- Homopolymers
- Exact sequence specification (no codon optimization)
- Long length

Delivery typically ranges from 15-35 business days. Upon review of your DNA or
protein sequence, we will provide you with a quotation including the codon optimized
sequence and specific pricing and delivery details.
A 10,000 base pair minimum order applies excluding first time customers.

Subcloning Services and Custom Vectors
Codon Devices' standard vector is pUC19. If you require a different vector
we will work with you to provide the clone in the vector of your choice.
Subcloning into a vector of choice is available for $400 per clone.
In some cases a $500 vector setup fee applies
